11/07/2009 - It's all go for Dave Cherry at the moment. The musical was a sell-out roaring success, and a DVD has been produced, set to be released on Tuesday 28th July. It has also been announced that Dave has now raised over £42,000 for Barnsley Hospice. Well done Dave!

29/11/2008 - New Dave Cherry single to be released in the new year.
Dave Cherry has written an extra new song for his musical 'The Old Club Trip', which will be showing at the Lamproom Theatre in Barnsley in June 2009. The song, 'Looking at the end of my rainbow story' is for the new female lead, Fran Davies, who has appeared in Mama Mia and Les Miserables in the West End. Dave has described the song as 'the first serious song I have ever written' and will use the release to promote the musical in the New Year.

Fran Davies, who has appeared in West End Musicals such as Mama Mia and Les Miserables, is going to star in the musical Old Club Trip, written by Dave Cherry. The male lead has not been announced yet. See the press page for more.

14/07/2008 - At last - the full video to Stairfoot Rarndabart is uploaded. Check it out on the media page. Dave decided to put the video online in full because of persistent bootlegging threatening sales of the DVD, all profits of which went to charity. As such, if you like the DVD and appreciate Dave's work, you might like to donate to the Barnsley Hospice.
06/07/2008 - The gigs page has been taken away and the information is now viewable on this page! Check it out below, just click on the picture and it will take you to the big version. A new gig has been added - Dave will be playing live, with friends, at Barnsley's Cutting Edge, on Wednesday July 16th. Be there or be square! All profits, as usual, to Barnsley Hospice.

29/06/2008 - Multi-mega update! Wayne Smallman from the blog BlahBlahTech believes Google should live up to its 'Do No Evil' mantra and donate some money to Barnsley Hospice as a goodwill gesture after thousands of people watched Dave's video 'Stairfoot Rarndabart' on YouTube without paying just £4 for the DVD.
Full article can be read on the Press page, as can an appeal Dave wrote in the Barnsley Chronicle for pictures of the old threepenny bit kiosk from the bus station in Barnsley.
Check out the pictures page for some exciting developments in the design of the Old Club Trip musical! An original billboard has been found, as have schematics of the kiosk set to feature in the musical! Also added are some promo pictures of Dave Cherry with staff from Stagecoach Bus, the sponsors of The Old Club Trip, in front of one of their buses.

There is now a poster on the gig page for Dave's upcoming gig at the Harborough Hills WMC on 7th Feb. Check it out to see the gig listing - singing sensation Jennifer Edwards will also be on the bill.
He has also announced that he is writing a musical to his song 'The Old Club Trip' and is meeting the director of the Lamp Room theatre in Leeds, John Kelly, who will help guide him through the process.

08/01/2008 - Well this isn't a good start to the New Year! Our guestbook is offline after the company providing it decided to charge anyone wanting to use it. So all lines of communication are down at the moment - disaster! On the plus side a rather amusing banner pronouncing Dave's world fame in Barnsley is up on this very page!
